The transition from cycling to running (T2) is often the toughest in a triathlon. During this brick training you will work on your physical and mental preparation for this moment, with attention to pacing, technique and recovery.

Program

Program of the day

09:15 – Walk-in with coffee & tea
Reception and preparation of bike and running gear. Explanation of the importance of a good T2 and the focal points of the day.

10:00 – Theory & transition tips (T2)

  • What happens in your body during T2?

  • Efficiently setting up your transition zone

  • Switching from cycling shoes to running shoes

  • Strategic braking towards walking

  • Mental preparation: from power to flow

10:30 – Cycling session (± 60-75 min)

  • Focused on cadence & energy distribution

  • Last 10 km at race pace

  • Building towards a smooth transition

  • Focus on nutrition and rhythm

11:45 – Straight ahead: running session (± 30-40 min)

  • Quick change: bike down, helmet off, shoes on

  • Walking on tired legs

  • Technique: step frequency, posture, relaxation

  • Intervals with feedback

12:30 – Reflection & technique tips

  • How did your body feel during menopause?

  • What have you learned about pacing and energy expenditure?

  • Simulation feedback and personal advice

13:00 – Healthy lunch & Q&A
Closing with a joint lunch. Space for questions about material, nutrition, recovery and training structure.
