Transitions (T1 and T2) are often underestimated, but can make the difference between a messy or a smooth race. During this clinic you will learn how to bring calmness, control and speed to your transitions – both in dry and wet practical part.

Program of the day
09:15 – Walk-in with coffee & tea
Introduction to the coach and other participants. We will look at the transition zone together and discuss the structure of the day.
10:00 – Kick-off & theory
Explanation T1 (swim → cycle) and T2 (cycle → run)
Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
Preparation, material, walking routes & rules
10:45 – Practical part: set-up & preparation
Setting up your place in the transition zone
Practicing the transition from wetsuit to cycling clothing
Quickly put on helmet, goggles and shoes
Create a personal exchange checklist
11:30 – Session 1: T1 – swim to bike (wet & dry)
Optional open water start
Take off wetsuit, run to bike
Simulation: put on helmet, start cycling
Repetition at tempo and fluency
12:30 – Short break with snack
13:00 – Session 2: T2 – bike to run
Get off before the line
Changing shoes, making a mental switch
Running simulation with technique drills and tempo build-up
13:45 – Transition Challenge
Mini-triathlon alternating race in pairs or solo
Exercise under light pressure with fun factor
14:15 – Joint lunch & closing
Finish with a healthy lunch. Debriefing with personal tips for your race strategy and transition routines.
